WorldFlight is a group flight that flies around the world in 7 days. Our main purpose is to raise money for dozens of charities all around the world, with millions of dollars raised since the event started.
The event has become one of the most popular events on VATSIM, with it not uncommon to have upwards of 70 aircraft flying each leg.
Naturally, this makes WorldFlight an extremely busy event, and careful planning is required.
Since 2022 we have been working closely with VATSIM divisions to carefully plan the event. Last year we planned our route based purely on requests to visit certain divisions and airports submitted by you all!
If you would like to support world flight please send us a suggestion and we will be in touch to work with you during our planning phase.
Obviously, it is impossible to arrive at every airport at a sociable time, however, we do make every effort to make it work. If we arrive at your airport during unsociable hours, we will endeavour to visit it again in future events at a better time.
